♔ Due to London's main water supply pipe breaking on Wednesday morning the entire city has been on a water conservation use/outdoor water ban until it was been fixed and our city's water supply have refilled, which may take the entire weekend to fix (thanks guys for being SUPER VAGUE about a possible done date)
Which of course means half of the Londoners water their lawns and the other half seemingly take the twitter to RT everyone else who's bitching about said people.
I just want the splash pads to open back up again because this heat wave is killer.

♔ I dropped the English class I was taking yesterday, after I finally got too frustrated with the teacher. Never before in my education life have I come across a teacher (especially an English one at that) who refuses to allow the students to have on topic discussions. Her exact words were "BE QUIET, THIS CLASS IS NOT OPEN FOR DISCUSSION," after the class was trying to talk about their ideas about comparing Gatsby to the Holy Grail. Instead of being given the chance to revise my thesis statement for TTSS (I had to hand in the assignment before I finished the book, which make it difficult to get anything done right) she wrote down what she wanted me to write about instead: including a thesis statement and all the evidence she got from watching the movie - twice apparently.
Because you know, it's not like there wasn't any book to movie differences or anything.
Or if you've seen the movie, you would know that Tarr's name isn't Ricky and Karla is not Karlos.
Another thing: classes at the school are 3 hours long. In no way should the class be given a small 10-15 page booklet about COMMAS, SEMI-COLONS and COLONS to works on for the entire time. Especially when most of the booklet is just over-sized clip art/putting check marks on the correct sentences without correcting them.
I haven't decided if I'll try to retake the course in September and cross my fingers for a different teacher, or I'll just stick to upgrading my science courses to university level.
♔ Oh, and I finally cut off my hair after years of growing it out, but I won't be able to get it thinned out until next week at the earliest. #firstworldproblems Monday I'll go to the postal office and ship it off to a hair donation place (whenever I actually get around to looking one up)
♔ Commence the Eurovision 2012 spamming on twitter, for those following me right now: I'd say I'm sorry but I'm not. For those followers who like Jedward, I want a handwritten apology and a bag of spuds sent to Canada asap.
