Sometimes I remember that I should dust off the hypothetical dust bunnies off my blog and actually make a post, but 99.9% of the time something shiny, scandalous or mind numbing interesting distracts me.

Well, in this case multiple things have been distracting me especially lately. Go figure.

Lots and lots of Dragon Age feels, despite not being overly fond of the 2nd game.

I only have 1 more course to upgrade to after I pass this chemistry grade 11 university one, and I'm already working on applying to college for the Sept '13 year (okay, I've been delaying this but I guess I'm taking OSAP and panicking afterwards). I just need to take courses in order to keep myself in the get-that-homework-done mentality, otherwise good luck on college Elyse.

Despite my complaining a lot (sorry twitterland!) I do love living in London Ontario, but sometimes I get such secondhand embarrassment. Today is another one of those days. Last March we had the Fleming Drive riot, and lately we've had the Mayor Fontana wedding scandal, and rather questionable behaviour from some of our councillors among a long list of things. I love this city, but sometimes it tests me. Like most post-secondary students, I do plan on booking it out of here when I'm done with college, to transfer to a university. Maybe one day I'll make plans to return, but not until this city makes a positive comeback. #demandinggingersyo

While I'm on being distracted: gooooodness I could kill for a haircut but it's unbelievably hard to find someone who can cut my kind of curly and very thick hair.

On another note, my sister returns for winter break mid-December and I got 2 tickets to see the Hobbit on December 14th!

I had plans to get some major job hunting done around early October but with the decision that we're definitely moving in February/March I've been talked into putting that onto the back burner again.

So here, since it's been a long time: have some pictures of my cats (also sorry twitterland again)

ps: have I mentioned how I'm not looking forward to buying Christmas presents for my sister and mother, only because neither have giving me any clues to what they want? /head to desk/

Welcome liver I do update dreamwidth occasionally, but I'm more often found on twitter or reblog silly things on tumblr should you feel free to follow those if you do *w*

 Small things to mention
  • Canada Conservatives just stop. stop. stop. stop.
  • Ontario Liberals just stop. stop. stop. stop.
  • London city councillors just stop. stop. stop. stop.
  • I accidentally threw myself into the Kurobas fandom. I'm less than 50 chapters away from being caught up (which is pretty impressive seeing as I've only been reading it for 4 days + carpal tunnel
  • I survived living downtown during homecoming weekend without getting too much headaches, Roger's entire servire cutting off for 5+ hours through Ontario and parts of Canada and the Doctor Who mid-season finale with only a single tear.
  • One of my cat's broke into the tank with my 9 crested gecko babies, thankfully none of them are dead, but one of them dropped its tail and does have a bite mark healing. :|
On more detailed note

Likelihood of living in this apartment longer than the lease agreement are dwindling rapidly. There's only so much I can tolerate of the tenant in the building next door with his drums and mouldy couch, a leaky roof and those stairs. Note to self next apartment needs to either be on the first or 2nd floor but I'd prefer the main floor. Because my sister is way out in Mount Allison, she won't be getting a say in the matter but we will hold off the big move until she's back for the summer (even if we start packing by the end of March when our lease officially ends)

Well that and we don't know the future of the Kellogg's plant (my mother works as a cook/manager in the cafe) and if it'll be closing down because of the multiple upcoming lay offs.

At least registration for semester two at Wheable is coming up (on the 11th, I believe), so that will give me something p r o d u c t i v e to do with myself until I can get my health issues dealt with and find a job. I'll be taking either 3U chem or 4U biology depending on which class is running in the morning.

Anyway I'm going to spend the night with a couple cups of tea, Granada!Holmes, sending off a few emails and reading some more Kurobas. I'm the most / p r o d u c t i v e / person yet

Things I've learned (and rather quickly)
  • Do not let your Mother's (former) boss book the plane tickets or hotels. Especially if he's not familiar with the area. Likely you'll wind up taking planes at 3:30 am, and get stuck in questionable inns nowhere near the local transit.
  • It probably would have been easier to fly to Moncton (get the rest of the stuff Ayla needed) > Sackville for 1-2 days > Halifax with my mother and myself. I honestly didn't get to see much because my mother refused to deal with transit or go exploring around.
  • Avoid using cabs if you can on the East Coast. MAN, THEY GOT IT GOOOOOOOOD (well not good for the passengers, but w/e w/e)
  • Avoid using the VIA rail, unless there is no reasonable way. Likely there will CRAZIES on board and crew who don't care to help you out. Not having wifi meant the ride from Halifax to Sackville was a snore fest, up until this obnoxious guy got on board and insisted I was a she-man and that my mother looks like Tom Cruise? Also he was incredibly loud and rude about / e v e r y t h i n g / and according to him I'm wasting my life away because I don't have a desire to ride a car?
  • Taking someone who's highly introverted and has social anxiety issues (me) through a tour of the Windsor Hall in Mount Allison was possibly the worst idea anyone could have come up with. Thankfully my sister did get moved into a more quiet house with one of those international students who are only there for a semester. And I got to run off the campus pretty quick.
  • Carpal tunnel or arthritis and eating crustaceans don't go hand in hand.
  • My hair misses the hell out of the east coast weather.
The fall season is going to be interesting for anime and tv shows.
  • Tiger & Bunny movie is out on Sept. 22nd (I full expect the internet to provide subs quick)
  • Madoka Magica movie 1 is out Oct. 6th and the 2nd movie is out on the 13th. (TEARS AND FEELS)
  • Magi should start airing in October
  • I'm not 100% sure if I'll watch Elementary because honestly I wasn't too impressed with the pilot episode.
  • QI returns with series J starting Sept. 14th if I remember correctly.
  • Parades End still has 2 more episodes to be released
  • I'm starting to watch Copper
  • Doctor who series 7: I may or may not continue watching it at this rate.
Well at least I was able to remember some CSS/html from ALL THOSE YEARS AGO. I ended up whipping up this as a basic template for my sister, should she actually choose to do something with it - who knows. Anyway, I'm just going to tidy up my room and finally get around to playing more Assassin's Creed in the afternoon and Copper/Kuroko's balls in the evening.

It's getting to that time of the year when I finally need to bite the dust and buy a new pair of headphones. Thankfully, since I had to buy my sister a cellphone I got a $100 gift card towards the cost. However, I'll probably look after I get back from our trip + dropping my sister off at Mount Allison since that'll give me some time to look into my choices.

Small to do list:
  • Water plants (indoor and outdoor), clean apartment, VACCCCCCUUUUM, make beds, clean out fridge, take garbage outside and clean cat box
  • Buy crickets for my crested geckos, make an instruction list for my friends coming over while I'm away, get them to pick up my mail
  • Move geckos into my sister's room for the week, put them all on a timer, feed Schrodinger.
  • Cry because my Wreck fan book hasn't arrive and I'm internally panicking because I hate shipping and Canada Post in general.
I'm all packed up for the vacation, with the exception of packing a carry on and confirming who's coming to visit my pets. Still not looking forward to waking up at 3:30am to leave for the airport, ughh too early.

Last week I had my wisdom tooth pulled, chew a cold sore on the other side of my mouth open, allergies to seemingly everything (especially people wearing perfumes again), and that beloved curse for woman has arrived with a vengeance. Bless pain killers, but I'm not looking forward to a trip on a plane while cramping.

Ayla found out that her will-be room mate is one of those EXTREME PARTY HARDERS, that lives about 15 minutes away from Mount Allison but is living on residence (?). I wish her the BEST OF LUCK all while cackling like a good older sister should. It's good to know that if I ever do decide to get my post secondary education out of London, that I'll automatically be looking for an apartment to rent because of my reptiles and cats. But first my immediate goals in life are to upgrade all my courses into university levels and get a job to earn some of the tuition money I'll need, so that I don't need to bank off OSAP and other loans.

This as been a useless post so I'm off to watch PARADE'S END, have Sherlock /FEELS/, and watch the mid-season finale of Suits tonight, hey maybe I'll even get some Skyrim or Dragon Age time in at that point. jkjk, change of plans. I'll just reread reapersex comics and laugh at this fandom.

My mother and myself will be dropping my sister off in Sackville NB pretty soon. She's almost got all her things together before actually going out there, expect for calling the university and finding out what's going on about residence and OSAP for confirmation. My mother's boss already booked our plane tickets for the 27th, and my mother and I will be exploring around the east coast for a couple of days after ditching my sister before returning back to Ontario on the 4th.

On Friday half the power to our apartment decided to stop working, which was horrible timing because temperatures were well over 35 without counting humidex factors. After maintenance told us that he wasn't able to fix it and a electrician would be over on Monday, I quickly had to move ALL my crested geckos into my mother's room before they overheated or died. My sister's room still kind of had A/C working, so I moved my mac and ps3 there for a couple of days. I slept in my room, which was topping around 42-45. Anyway, the power was fixed Monday afternoon, but that was the long weekend was a huge waste for me.

One of my wisdom teeth has been causing me severe problems lately, this time it's managed to cut through a large cut of my gum but not enough that the piece has fallen out. I've barely been capable of eating solids in the last few days because everything hurts. Thankfully I have an appointment to get my tooth checked out next Thursday. The kicker (because there's always a kicker)? The dentist isn't sure that they'll be able to remove the tooth there, or if they'll have to referral me elsewhere. If it was my choice, I would have just booked it to that University Hospital and dealt with the students there because this not eating anything but chicken noodle soup is getting real old fast.

Class registration is on the same day that I leave for the east coast, go figure. So I'll be stuck calling ahead and going to school before hand. At least I won't have to deal with GROUP registration again, which in a way is perfect timing. I'm aiming for university level biology, chemistry or Earth and space science for semester 1 and 2, and searching for a part time job in my space time.

Well on the good news, hopefully by the time I get home all my orders will have arrived. So far I'm waiting on the 2 BBC's Sherlock fan books I orders, crested gecko food and 2 new plugs from bodyartforms, because I manged to lose one a few days ago. Ahhh, money. Why do you always leave me so quickly? Other than that I recently bought a 3Ds and Kingdom Hearts: Dream drop distance, which will be my flight entertainment, and Assassin's Creed 1. My video gaming list is getting far too long, but I want to finish most of Skyrim/KH:3D first then work on Dragon Age > Assassin's Creed and lastly replay Folklore. Oh, and I still need to buy my mother a birthday present before the 6th, THINGS TO DO, THINGS TO DO.

Been feeling utterly drained lately as my mother has been taking the stress of her youngest daughter leaving soon for university out on me. Yes, I screwed up in high school when I wasn't switched into academic level courses (despite asking for it numerous times), Yes, I don't really have a game plan on what I'd like to do with my life because I'm so pessimistic about the future, but I do consider myself to having a vague idea what I'd like do to. And most importantly, I really don't need mother to attempt to manage my life, if I want to get back into having my everyman sleep schedule, because I feel like I can function better, just let me without giving me the lectures about how I'm ruining my life.

Gecko egg laying season is definitely over now, anymore eggs that are not infertile will be disposed of safely as I'm done trying to cope with this train wreck I got myself into. In total I've had 9 crested geckos hatched (2 are mine, 1-2 are my sister's, and the rest will be handled after I figure out their gender in a while), with the last 4 eggs still sitting in a container. A few weeks back, a friend of my sister took 2 of the babies for himself after he got all the supplies. After taking the geckos home, I was informed that his girlfriend and himself are heading to Halifax for univeristy. 2 days ago, I he comes to visit my apartment, saying that he's run into a problem-o: his landlord won't allow him to bring the crested geckos with him, but will allow his cat. Great. I volunteered to take care of them for the year, as long as I'm supplied the food and equipment, until he figures out what he's doing what to do. On top of those, I'm also to take care of my sister's geckos has she's heading to New Brunswick.

Kiss my bedroom space good-bye Elyse, just kiss it.

I'm finally getting a pretty good handle on this mac, but oh god I spent an embarrassing amount of time trying to figure out how to get geektools to work with a weather script before giving up and using the weather network app. I'm good at fiddling around with most things, but those scripts, I just couldn't get to work in London Ontario. Maybe I'll eventually reteach myself CSS/html or throw myself into the seemingly limitless world of science (minus bloody physics) again one day /stares wistfully outside the window dreaming/

Things I need to get done this week:
  • Take our Roger's tv boxes back and get them replaced, call Rogers about cancelling the phone and internet services with them.
  • Switch to another internet provider (possibly Techsavvy or Distrubutel) for unlimited download and get a new phone provider that's cheap
  • Trim my cats nail's, make a list of items I need to get at the reptile expo in September*, top up water in all my fish tanks.
  • Figure out which courses I'm going to register for at Wheable and figure out my game plan for ~*post secondary~*
  • retype a resume (lost my old one, whoops), type a new one for my Mother.
  • Make sure my sister is on the right track to leave at the end of August for Mount Allison > also plan for hotel and plane's because VIA's out of the question now).
Oh and I've come across a new self-imposed rule with my family: under no circumstances am I do let it slip about my fandoms/ships or whatever I'm ordering. Getting lectured by my sister and mother for Sherlock Holmes ships because I ordered Reapersun's Wreck fanbook and I will burn the art out of you (slow service, but it seems like the lines are finally moving) oh god that was an awkward dinner time.

On lighter news, the KON movie was beautiful, as soon as my download limit resets I'm downloading Kuroko no bishonen, Kuroko no harem, Kuroko no gay Kuroko no Basket and the 3rd episode of Sword art online. Oh and at some point, I'm rewatching Tiger&Bunny, because best bros ever.

Meanwhile in London Ontario, I'm suffering from constant headaches from the seemingly never ending heat waves and from the cicada's chirping around 24/7. I haven't had much motivation to do much unfortunately that means I haven't gone biking much and have been pretty restless but not restless because of it. Also when I try to sleep the heat away and stay up at night, my mother comes back from work screaming how I'm not going to amount to anything because of it. Awesome.
  • Heat waves all over Ontario the last couple of week, which as been both brutal for myself and my hair.

  • Since my last post I've seen Spiderman and Brave. I'll admit Brave wasn't what I was expecting, but I thoroughly enjoyed it (plus the soundtrack is fabulous). The Amazing Spiderman was good and certainly better then the Toby!Parker adaptions, but I'll call it a far stretch to call it amazing.

  • Got my 2nd Adagio tea order, slowly working up to writing another tea review post but I just can't drink tea in this heat often.

  • Someone send help, Skyrim has literally taken over my life. Looking back on it, I probably should have played Dragon Age: Origins first before tackling such an extensive game as Skyrim.

  • I spend much of last week calling Canada Post everyday because whoever was delivering mail to our apartment building was incapable of opening the door/putting the mail in the unit boxes/or left packages on the front porch steps to be stolen. Hint the package was my Qwertee shirt, which thankfully arrived this time (well after I stepped on when leaving the house).

  • Lastly I'm currently watching Kuroko no Baske, but since the fall anime line up looks boring and the tv line up shouldn't take up too much time I'm going to rewatch Avatar: the last airbender and Tiger&Bunny after I catch up. Ahh, living the high life.

  • This weekend 3 more baby crested geckos hatched and 4 more are left to go, which will be the end of what the my girl's breeding ever. I should probably take some pictures of the babies soon just to show how much they've grown.

My birthday was on May 1st, and sadly it was pretty uneventful. Went to class for the afternoon and spend the rest of it having a movie marathon over msn with a friend. As my sister loves to joke, there's few people she knows in real life that is a) of legal age b) not hitting up the bars and c) prefers not to party. Ahhhh, the quite life for me.

Free comic book day was on Saturday, and while I did have a great time in the stores, waiting in the lines to get in most of those stores was horrible. I went with my sister about 2 hours before the stores opened and the lines were already an hour plus wait for most of the stores. After 2 years of trying to get a sonic screw drive on FCBD, I finally managed to buy one of the smaller versions that just lights up. I also managed to find a Sherlock Holmes book that has Study in Scarlet and a handful of the other short stories for $6 (instead of $18). At least we both took home a huge load of books this time: now I just need to find a place to store them and last year's stuff.

Photobucket

2 We also managed to see Avengers on that Saturday. HUGE LINE UPS, but beyond worth it. Also we've got to be one of the only ones, who decided to watch movies (Thor in our case) while waiting in line to be let in. I was skeptical about Mark Ruffalo playing the Hulk, only because it seems like the big guy is either a tragic miss or a pretty good hit, but Ruffalo!Hulk nailed it. Also I have so many Loki feels, how do I hold all of them. Actually, I have a lot of FEELS for all the characters but Loki and Bruce are on top of the list.

Thank Marvel for giving us 2 after-credit endings. The first one had whoever was left in the shows fist-pumping and cheering like mad and the second one had everyone in stiches of laughter. After saving the day, shawarma party is the best way to end it.

Also on Saturday, I finally bought an itouch to replace my getting-old Creative Zen x-fi mp3 player. While I'm pretty good with computers and most technology myself, I am beyond itunes challenged. Took me forever to turn off automatic syncing and figure how to get songs of the same album together. /shakes fist/ At least everything also is pretty neat and I do love the interface.

2 more of my crested gecko eggs hatched. One on my birthday (May 1st) and another the day after. Cute little guys, just a pain in my rears to hand train and get used to feeding.

This has been a FABULOUS WEEK, and I'm almost sad that it's almost over.

Our house finally closed, and we got the cheque already in the bank

I'll be getting $5000 in inheritance (to spend on my own + education savings), $150 to spend on adaigo, roller blades and a PS3 to replace the one I had to lose in a pawn when my uncle passed.

We'll be buying a washer and dryer set to sneak into our apartment asap, because the laundry mats in this area are pretty sketchy

2/10 of my crested gecko eggs hatched on Monday, and 2 more should be hatching within 2-3 weeks :D

I know this is a super short post but I have new episodes of Community, Tsuritama and Sakamich to watch tonight, so here have a small pic spam of the 2 baby crested geckos.Read more... )

Things that I want to happen:
a) For my old house to finally close, so that we can move on with our lives.
b) Kellogg's to not go on a possibly strike or lock down, because the timing is horrible.
c) For my body to kindly piss off. 3+ week period, and cramps bad enough to make me really nauseous.

This season's anime should be all out by now, and it looks like I'll be sticking with 3 shows this time: Sakamichi no Apollon, Tsuritama, Polar Bear Cafe and continuing watching Hunter X Hunter. As for TV shows, I'm definitely watching a handful this season, so at least I'm being kept entertained. Both Game of Thrones and the Borgias have returned for their 2nd seasons, Community should be wrapping up season 3 soon, Adventure Time and Legend of Korra. \O/  The problem with watching Game of Thrones and the Borgias: Sometimes the episodes are leaked out a week or so earlier, which is GREAT for watching and being ahead of everyone else, not so good for being stuck waiting 2 weeks for a new episode.

I've been spending the last few weeks, trying to recover all the files I lost when my 1TB hard drive crashed and burned on me, but having a monthly download limit with Rogers really does make things a challenge of patience. Hopefully in June we can switch to a different isp and maybe even get UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD LIMIT, god I don't even remember what those days were like anymore.

My female crested geckos have been laying eggs like champs for the last 2 months, since I had to put my male in their tank for a week while I fixed his tank (thanks cats, love you too). So far between the 2 they've laid 8 eggs, some which should be hatching early May through to the beginning of July. My sister has already been promised first picks, but I'm honestly not sure why she wants one, as she'll hopefully be heading off to New Brunswick in September for University. 2-3 babies have also been called for, by a couple of my sister's friends and the rest  I'll be keeping for myself. GIRLS, THIS IS THE ONLY TIME I'LL EVER LET YOU BREED SO ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS.

May's turning out to be a busy month coming up. I'll be going back to class (ENG3U) instead of self study, my birthday is on the 1st, Avengers is out on the 4th (but I maybe waiting till the Sunday to see it), free comic book day is the day after ( I WILL END ANYONE WHO SPOILS ME FOR THE AVENGERS WHILE I'M GETTING FREE BOOKS :<) and on the 18th I should be donating blood presuming I'm not sick. OH AND I CAN'T FORGET MEN IN BLACK 3 on May 25th. Yes May, you will be good for my fandom loving heart.

Someone needs to get me off bodyartforms, so many plugs on my wish list, so little money. Maybe when the house is finally sold I'll order myself a new pair of plugs since it's been a year with my blue glass ones. Now if only I could decide between this, this, this or this.
*w* I'm also on the look out for a 16g right nose stud with an emerald on it, but so far no luck unless I downsize to 18g. :|

Either I'm covered in bug bites, or my cats may have fleas. Really hoping it's just bug bites, but I did hear that the previous tenant of this apartment had dogs. If it fleas, I won't be able to touch them for weeks because of my sensitive skin and flea treatments. /SIGH/ Back to covering myself in calamine lotion, I guess.

We're be moving in 2-3 weeks to the new apartment, and oh boy, am I ever tired of packing things up. A lot of my mother's possessions are glass antiques or cast iron statues which make me INSANELY nervous packing them away. Other that the breakables, I need to worry about buying a smaller fish tank to replace the 45 gallon and how the cats are going to handle being uprooted (hint: not very well).

I finished off the last unit for my self study course and I'm going to need to pull off a miracle if  I have any hopes of passing the exam and course. I've cross referenced books, reputable online sources and my old teachers for the answers but the teacher marks me wrong on my answers because I used a different formula then her books possibly have. :|

And the problem is no matter how many times I've tried to contact this teacher,  I haven't succeed once. /resists the urge to kick things/

I did watch a Monster in Paris and book 1 of Avatar: the Last Air Bender this month in between packing, which was fun. Monster in Paris is such a fun and I love the character designs far too much. I decided to watch Avatar from the start again, because I do remember never finishing it off before I lost YTV years ago. But alas, I'm slowly fixing this (well slowly only because I can't download much thanks to Rogers) and everyone is super endearing, even the Zuko in his own way.

Oh and I've been slowly converting one of my old bookcases into a bigger snake enclosure for Schrodinger. I just wish it was easier to source out a place for cheap piece of glass or plexiglass for the door. GUYS, I'M CHEAP AND BROKE, STOP THAT.

I wish Livejournal would implement a way to remove journals which are still friending you. Though, if I had to be honest I really only check up with the few Sherlock communities and people who still use LJ for a blog. And I barely can read comments as it is, so reading fic meme posts have been a challenge. OH WELL.

So on great news, we found an apartment to move into and will be doing so by the end of March. It's in an older house downtown in a really neat area and for the price we're paying, dang do we get a lot of space. While I'm sad to see all my hard work in decorating this house so, I'm looking forward to starting on the apartment (and we got permission to paint which is A++)

On the bad news, I'm stuck downsizing my 45 gallon fish tank, our lawyer still hasn't finished his end of the work and citi financia still hasn't made up their mind if we'll be charged $53,000+ for the loan or not. I wish they'd make a decision as of last week, because my oldest cat may need a check up at a vet's soon and I don't have the money to deal with this right now.

Because of how busy I've been for the last couple of weeks, I've seriously been neglecting my physics coursework. In a distance dreamworld I was hoping to have completed this course by January when I started up, but real life got in the way so hard and now I'm just scraping by to motivate myself into finishing this last unit and bullshitting the exam like a boss. While I know I could enjoy self study courses, I loathe the way it's taught in these books and by taught I mean not taught.

Oh I'm sure I'm missing out on a few things to write about, but my eye balls are twitching from my 1.5 hours of sleep thanks to swollen tonsils and a killer back pain. A+ Off to bed early this time self.

On Monday I woke up after 3 hours of sleep to have just missed our re estate agent calling saying that there's  possible showing in the early morning and that she'll stop by to check on me before they come. Cue me panicking because the family left a WONDERFUL mess in the house (laundry, dishes, shoveling the driveway, cat box, make all the beds, tidy up, sweep and mop), which thankfully I had just enough time to clean up and not pass out before the visitors came.

Anyway the visitor brought her agent, she loved the house and strangely enough they didn't even want to look in the basement? idgi. She said she'd call back later with an offer, without even thinking about. When my mother got home from work I told her about the showing and BAM not even 15 minutes later the same visitors come through again and within an hour they were already putting on offer through.

akgkag;al; THEY STILL DIDN'T CHECK THE BASEMENT THE 2ND TIME BUT WHATEVER IDC.

So now we have less than 45 days to pack everything up, find a new place, figure out how we're going to juggle the money around until the will is settled (would it be believable if I said that our lawyer just went to the courts this week to get my mother appointed heir to all this, agkalga;l) and actually move.

PS apartment hunting SUCKS.

I also finally got my blood donating card from the blood services this week, and my sister was betting I would be A or B, while I was calling on my blood being O because of I tended to have inherited more features from my father. And of course I'm right (O-) and my sister threw a hissy fit since she hates losing to me for the smallest of things.

I think I'll make a small update to my fic rec post this weekend at some point too. :3

Yesterday the coroner's report for my uncle's death finally arrived. Just not with news that I could at least accept and make peace with. The report says that yes he died of chronic heart disease, severe anemia (which he had blood work done at a walk-in clinic but they never told him the results), colon cancer and a lung infection. But it also stated that the coroner believes he could still be around today if the clinic had bothered sent him a letter saying "GET TO THE HOSPITAL ASAP" when they couldn't get a hold of him as they didn't ask for his new phone number or contacted his emergency contact (which is my mother). SERIOUSLY. SERIOUSLY... just /FLIPS ALL THE BLOODY TABLES/ (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻

If citi financial decides to reinstate the mortgage again, my mother is seriously going to ask a lawyer for advice about this because I swear there's no way this should be allowed anyway. /crosses fingers that they just leave us alone/

Depressing news aside: I've been pretty busy the last 2 weeks with several house showings, physics homework (to which I am a master procrastinator of) and cleaning the house constantly because my family does love to make a mess for me. At least our agent is SUPER CONFIDENT about selling this house, and possibly getting it to go into a bidding war~

Today was #TweetYourSherlockTee day and I did manage to threaten my useless camera enough to function for 30 seconds I mean lovingly encourage it to work /cough/

The green one is my #believeinsherlock movement shirt, which is just made with those cheap fabric paints in a bottle that I'm super fond of because if I manage to screw it up using those I should be written off as a lost cause. OH MAN, I just noticed how FIERCE the glare on it looks, I swear it doesn't look that shiny in real life, akgalg;. Oh and my consulting detective and Moriartea shirts are above. The next time I get a spare shirt, I'm super tempted to either make a DEATH FRISBEE!Deerstalker one or make I AM SHERLOCKED.

Doing laundry has been made interesting by my 2nd oldest cat, who can't stay out of the dryer long enough for me to fold all the clean clothes. If I try to move her out, she gets all HISSY and the CLAWS COME OUT. :| Why can't I have well behaved cats: Abby (the white one below) is a professional shit disturber, Lucifer (my black one) is one super needy/paranoid cat with a LOUD MOUTH and Lucky (the oldest, and only male cat) is a food stealer. ps flash never looks good on cat's eyes, asdgjlk

And I'm off to go do semi-productive things, just not sure what of yet. /living the high life apparently/
